PM Modi condemns Congress for its divisive approach to politics

Prime Minister Narendra Modi rallied in Sirsi, Uttara Kannada district, on April 28, endorsing party nominees Vishveshwara Hegde for Uttara Kannada and Prahlad Joshi for Dharwad constituencies.

He urged the electorate to reject the Congress, accusing it of indulging in divisive vote bank politics. In Karnataka, he criticized the Congress government for fostering a deteriorating law and order situation, attributing it to rising crime rates.

Referring to past instances of violence, he contrasted the pre-2014 era marked by bomb blasts with the current period of relative peace. He chastised Congress leaders for downplaying incidents like the Bengaluru bomb blast and alleged their involvement with banned organizations like PFI.

Discussing the Ayodhya Ram temple, PM Modi



hailed its construction as a long-awaited victory, contrasting it with the Congress' history of obstructionism and disrespect towards the project. He commended the magnanimity of the temple trustees in inviting Congress leaders, juxtaposed with their refusal.

PM Modi highlighted instances of communal harmony, such as the Ansari family's acceptance of the Supreme Court verdict on the temple, and urged Congress leaders to follow suit.

Encouraging voter turnout, he emphasized the BJP's commitment to national development and local aspirations. He listed achievements in infrastructure, agriculture, and international recognition for Indian produce like millets.

Despite the absence of certain party members, PM Modi's address resonated with his core message of development and unity, setting the stage for the upcoming elections.
