More than 4000 contestants file nominations for assembly elections in Tamil Nadu

In Tamil Nadu, more than 4000 contestants including 668 women and a transgender have filed their nominations for April 6 Assembly elections.

A maximum of 62 candidates have filed their nomination in

Karur, while fifty candidates have filed their nomination papers in Kangeyam constituencies. Twelve candidates have filed their nominations for Kanyakumari Lok sabha bypoll.
