Electioneering is at its peak as only five days are left for campaigning to end for the first phase of assembly elections in Chhattisgarh. Voting for twenty out of ninety seats in the state is to be held on November 7. Most of these constituencies are in the Maoist-affected areas. The election campaign of various parties has gained momentum.

candidates in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh. Shri Modi will hold an election rally in Govindpur in Kanker district this afternoon.

Meanwhile, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge addressed a public meeting in the Sukma district of Bastar division and at Mahasamund yesterday.  State Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will hold a road show seeking support for Congress candidate in Rajnandgaon today.
