Campaigning for assembly elections has intensified in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Rajasthan.

Only a few days have been left for campaigning to end in Madhya Pradesh. All political parties and candidates are leaving no stone unturned to woo the voters in the state. Prime Minister and senior BJP leader Narendra Modi will campaign in Madhya Pradesh today. The Prime Minister will address a public meeting in Barwani at around 4.30 pm.

Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah will campaign in Vidisha, Guna, Ashoknagar and Datia districts today.

Apart from this, Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Bhupendra Yadav and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will campaign in various constituencies today.

Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will hold road shows in Bhopal today apart from rallies in Neemuch and Timarni.  Along with former Chief Minister Kamal Nath, other party leaders will also participate in the campaign to woo the voters.

Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, Aam Aadmi Party, Gondwana Gantantra Party and independent candidates are also put their full strength in the campaigning.

Madhya Pradesh will go to polls on the 17th of this month and counting of votes will take place on December 3.

The campaign for the second phase of assembly elections is in full swing in Chhattisgarh. Senior bjp leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address public meetings at village Jamkuhi in Mungeli district and Bemcha Bhatha ground in Mahasamund district today.

At the same time, senior Congress leader and Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel is holding public meetings at various places. Senior Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi is scheduled to visit Raipur on 14th November and Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit Bemetara on 15th November. Senior leaders of other parties including Aam Aadmi Party are also reported to address election meetings in the state.

In the second phase of assembly elections, polling will be held in seventy assembly constituencies on November 17th.

In Telangana, electioneering of top leaders of all major parties will resume today after a brief gap for Deepavali festival. Many leaders have celebrated Deepavali festival in their constituencies amidst the people.  BJP has prepared a schedule for its top leaders for campaigning in Telangana from this week. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to spearhead the party’s intensified election campaign during the crucial last week before the polling. Mr Modi’s 3-day schedule, includes extensive roadshows and public meetings in the state. 

BRS Chief Chandrasekhar Rao will resume his fervent campaign today. He is going to address 3-4 public meetings daily for next 16 days covering 54 constituencies across the state. Party



Working president K Taraka Ramarao and other senior leaders will have roadshows while the candidates are focussing on door-to-door campaign.

Pradesh Congress President Revanth Reddy is campaigning in 2-3 constituencies every day while the party top leaders from Delhi and other states will join the campaign in 2-3 days. Congress Star campaigners Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra are expected to stay camp in the state till the campaign ends. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi is holding Paidal Dowra in the constituencies where his party candidates are in the fray. ---

In Rajasthan, in order to ensure easy and inclusive voting for the Assembly elections in Rajasthan, polling stations will be set up even in inaccessible, remote and sparsely populated areas by the Election commission. Special preparations have been made to ensure that no voter is deprived of his franchise due to not being able to reach the polling station. 

Voters of Shergaon, located at an altitude of 4 thousand 921 feet near Mount Abu Hill Station in Sirohi district, will be able to vote in their own village for the first time in this election. With the help of forest guards, the polling party will walk about 18 kilometers through the dense forest to reach this polling station. This polling station has been set up for 117 voters. 

Similarly, in Barmer district, near the international border, a polling booth is being set up for only 35 voters in Barmer Ka Paar village. while in another village of the same district, Manjholi, a polling booth will be set up for 49 voters for the first time. Voters of these villages did not have to go five kilometers away to vote. Apart from this, there are many other villages too, where polling stations have been set up to for less than 100 voters to make it easier for the voters to use their franchise. -

Today is the day for scrutiny of nominations for Telangana assembly elections. The last date for withdrawal of candidatures is 15th of this month. Voting in Telangana for 119 assembly constituencies will take place on 30th of this month.
 
Assembly elections in Chhattisgarh are being held in two phases. Under the first phase, voting was held in 20 assembly constituencies on 7th of this month along with polling in Mizoram for all 40 assemblies. Under the second phase, voting will be held in 70 assembly constituencies on 17th of this month along with polling on all 230 assembly constituencies of Madhya Pradesh.
   
In Rajasthan, polling for all 200 assembly constituencies will be held on 25th of this month.  
           
Counting of votes for all five poll-bounds states-Mizoram, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana will be held on 3rd of next month.
