Veteran actor Vinod Khanna is in the news since he was hospitalized on March 31st, 2017 for his weakening health condition.

The 70-year-old was admitted to HN Reliance Foundation and Research Centre in Girgaum due to severe dehydration.

A picture of Vinod Khanna from the hospital surfaced on the internet in which he is barely recognizable. Vinod Khanna, who was one of the most handsome actors of the 80s in Bollywood, looks frail with extreme weight loss.

This photograph has put his fans in shock, but the good news is Vinod Khanna is recovering fast and will soon be discharged from the hospital, revealed by his son Rahul Khanna.

Hospital sources also confirmed that Vinod Khanna is recovering well and is much better. Rahul in his interview said that the doctors are looking to discharge him soon. The picture from the hospital room shows

While talking to media Rahul Khanna said,Dad was hospitalised on Friday for severe dehydration. The situation was quickly brought under control, he's doing much better, and the doctors are looking to discharge him soon.

Our family is most grateful for the extraordinary care he's been receiving at the hospital, and we are touched by all the good wishes pouring in, he added.

Vinod Khanna was last seen on the silver screen in 2015 film Dilwale, playing the father of superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Soon,  reports of Vinod Khanna suffering from blood cancer started doing the rounds on the internet. But the star was admitted to hospital as he was suffering from severe dehydration.
