In Robot 2.0 Amy Jackson, the British model-turned actor will take a lead replacing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who played the role of Rajini’s love in 2010 film.
According to India.com, she expresses her feelings to TOI in a chat that how she felt after replacing with the woman who is most beautiful and charming in the world.
She says when asked if she is nervous for the film, “Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is an inspiration. I’ve watched Robot several times. (Laughs) I have literally followed in Aishwarya’s footsteps. But our characters aren’t related.”
“Rajinikanth called me junior Aishwarya Rai on the sets of Robot 2.0. He’s so humble, has a wonderful aura around him and is an absolute gentleman,” she adds.
Describing about her role in Robot 2.0  “its opposite of who I am. I’ve had to change my demeanour and attitude for this part. I also have action



scenes, which I love. Stunt directors were flown in from Germany and England for this film.” The S. Shankar film features Rajinikanth in titular role much like the first film. However, this time Akshay Kumar will play the antagonist and will see in a really weird avatar in the movie. News has it that he plays a scientist who transforms into a crow after his experiment goes wrong.
“Rajinikanth is a dream to work with. He’s unaffected by fame and adulation. He was nervous when hundreds of locals turned up to see him on our set in a village. He doesn’t like the spotlight, which makes him a legend,” actor told about the experience with Rajinikanth.
“Shankar has moulded me as an actor. I shot with him for three years. His vision has helped me grow.” She adds, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s work inspires me. I also like Imtiaz Ali. He writes quirky roles for actors.”
