Hyderabad: Starting from the next academic year, admissions into the BSc forestry course at the Forest College and Research Institute, Mulugu will be done through the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET).

To this effect, the State government has issued an order on Friday amending EAMCET rules and included the BSc forestry course.

To be eligible for the four-year BSc Forestry course, candidates should have passed or appeared



for the final year intermediate examination or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education. Further, candidates should have Biology, Physics, and Chemistry or Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry as subjects.

According to the order, irrespective of the subjects taken at the qualifying examination, candidates seeking admission into the BSc Forestry course should appear for Biology, Physics and Chemistry in EAMCET.
