CBSE refutes claims of postponing Class 12 exams due to farmers' protests

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has taken a stern stance against a fabricated letter that has been actively distributed on social media, creating false claims that the Class 12 board examinations were postponed due to the ongoing farmers' protest.

The Board has categorically debunked these unfounded rumors, labelling the viral letter as fake and misleading. The contrived letter had caused unnecessary panic among students and parents, leading CBSE to step in and set the records straight.

The said fake letter comes across as a formal communication from the



examination controller and seems to be addressing all the principals and heads of institutions affiliated with CBSE.

It alleged that due to the distress caused by the farmers' protest, the board exams of Class 12 have been deferred until further notice. The letter even included information about the process for requesting changes in examination dates and centres.

However, the CBSE board was quick to respond, releasing an official statement to dispel this hoax. They refuted any such postponement of exams and advised the students and parents to ignore the phony claims being circulated.
