Tollywood actress arrested for gambling

Hyderabad: A character artist from Telugu film industry has been caught in the act of gambling on Sunday night. Police received information on the gambling circuit being taking place at an apartment in Jahangir Colony in Vanasthalipuram. 

Caught in the act of playing cards was character artist, Karate Kalyani along with 11 others who tried to escape



once Police came in to arrest them. However, all of them have been arrested and Police officials also seized Rs 75,000 worth jewellery along with eight mobiles from the apartment.

Amidst the arrest, Karate Kalyani stated that she was being framed and that she had nothing to do with the gambling that took place at the apartment.
