Officials of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) seized one kg gold from a passenger at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad on Thursday.

The passenger was caught when he was smuggling gold biscuits from Hyderabad to Mumbai. It is yet to be determined whether the gold was brought from abroad and later smuggled to Mumbai from Hyderabad.

The CISF officials are collecting more details from the passenger, who was detained, to know the origin of the gold biscuits.
