3 arrested for attempting woman's honour killing and murder of brother-in-law

The four-month-old case of a 22-year-old woman’s attempted honour killing and her brother-in-law’s murder was solved when the police arrested three men, including the main accused, on Friday, police said on Sunday.

The police arrested Karan Singh, Amit and Rajesh from Rajiv Chowk area after receiving a tip-off on their



whereabouts. Karan Singh is the woman’s uncle and the main accused in the case, while the other two are his friends.

The case came to light on 4 November last year when Kuldeep, the woman’s husband and elder brother of the deceased, lodged a complaint with the Civil Lines police station, alleging the kidnapping of his brother Prem Singh.
