Residents of Krishnapuram town of Andhra's Anantapur district  woke up to a spine-chilling incident on Wednesday. A father bludgeoned to death his wife and two daughters after a quandary over financial crunch.
Ramasubba Reddy, a farmer who was facing financial crisis, murdered his wife and daughters after he was unable to spare money for the education of his daughters.
Police said that Reddy also ran a financial business but suffered losses and was not willing to send his two of three daughters for higher studies.
Both his young daughters Prashanthi and Prasanna had acquired seats in MBA and were about to join college in Tirupati shortly.
Reddy's wife Sulochana was insisting him to send the daughters to pursue MBA by selling off some property, but he was reluctant. The education of the two daughters led to frequent arguments and domestic

violence.
On Tuesday, Reddy, who is also an alcoholic, killed all three by bludgeoning them with an iron rod when they were fast asleep. After murdering his family members, Reddy fled from the spot.
ACCUSED ALLEGEDLY CONSUMED POISON
Police said that he was found on Wednesday morning in the outskirts of Tadipatri in an unconscious state. Police presume that soon after killing his wife and daughters Reddy consumed poison.
Reddy was rushed to Anantapur government hospital and is in a critical condition.
Reddy's third daughter, who is pursuing BSC agriculture, is the only surviving member of the family as she was away when the incident took place.
The murder has sent a shockwave across Andhra Pradesh and people are unable to fathom the brutality of a father whose greed for money forced him to kill his own daughters and wife.
