Over 18.88 lakh new workers enrolled under ESI scheme in September

Over 18.88 lakh new workers have enrolled under ESI scheme in September of 2023. Over nine lakh young employees, upto the age group of 25 years, constitute the majority of new registrations. Gender-wise analysis of payroll data indicates that net enrolment of female members was 3.51

lakh in September.

The data shows that 61 transgender employees have also been registered under ESI Scheme in September. Around 22 thousand 544 new establishments have registered under ESI Scheme in the month.
