Kevadiya: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman emphasized the need for optimal utilization of the vast resources of the government and mentoring of young generations to achieve the goal of developed India by 2047.

The Minister said this in her remarks at the Chintan Shivir of the Finance Ministry which began at Kevadiya in Gujarat yesterday.

The discussions held yesterday were focused on various aspects of capacity-building in the areas of human resources, the role of technology and software-enabled



systems, intra and inter-ministerial consultations, the importance of training, and mentoring young generations for building a strong and resilient India by 2047.

Apart from Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Ministers of State for Finance Bhagwat Karad and Pankaj Chaudhary, nearly 100 representatives including secretaries and senior officers of various departments of the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Corporate Affairs are participating in this two-day Shivir.
