Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina will arrive in New Delhi today on a four-day visit to India. Briefing media, Joint Secretary (Bangladesh-Myanmar), in the External Affairs Ministry, Sripriya Ranganathan said over 20 pacts will be inked during Sheikh Hasina's visit. Two agreements are expected to be signed in the area of defence. 
According to the Ministry sources, India is expected to extend Line of Credit of 500 million dollars to Bangladesh for defence purchases.

Replying to a query on Teesta water sharing deal, the Joint Secretary said work is in progress in this direction. 

Sripriya Ranganathan said, India will be



entering into an inter- governmental agreement on civil nuclear energy with Bangladesh. She said, New Delhi will also be launching bus service connecting two cities of India and Bangladesh and train services involving West Bengal and Bangladesh.

The Joint Secretary said, Prime Minister Hasina will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New tomorrow. The two leaders will hold delegation level talks.During her stay in New Delhi, the visiting dignitary will call on President Pranab Mukherjee and Vice President Mohammed Hamid Ansari. 

The Bangladesh Prime Minister will be staying at the President House as a special guest during her stay.
