Hyderabad: The Coal Mines Provident Fund (CMPF) organisation will be organising a Jeevan Pramaan awareness campaign in Bhupalpally to educate employees of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) about the need to enroll the Aadhaar details of the pensioners. The Aadhaar number would be the Coalmine PF number for them, according to the CMPF Commissioner B.K. Panda.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, the Commissioner disclosed that as a part of the Digital India initiative, the Centre launched a web portal called “Jeevan Pramaan” for the convenience of the pensioners. Pensioners need not visit the office of Pension Disbursing Authority (PDA) to submit their Life Certificate. They can now submit their life certificates digitally from anywhere either through

e-seva service center or through any of the system having the required app.

Panda also said that a new portal for pensioners will be launched soon for the redress of grievances of pensioners. The existing web portal of CMPF had been given a facelift with improved facilities for viewing their claim status, account status, downloading self-certified life certificate format and status of grievance.

He advised the pensioners to attend the awareness programmes and bring documents including P.F. Account number, PPO number if available, Photocopy of bank pass book, Aadhaar card, mobile number. These are required to seed the Aadhaar number with the pension account number. Regional Commissioner-CMPFO Navin Kumar and other officials were present.
