In Kabul, two suicide bomb attacks in Parliament premises claimed the lives of 30 people and injured some 80 others.
Witnesses said, the insurgents targeted a convoy of officials leaving Parliament offices.
Top security officials, civilians and parliamentarians are said to be among the victims.
Taliban immediately claimed responsibility for the attacks.In Kandahar, an explosion occurred inside the Governor's office where a meeting was underway, killing at least 11 people.
18 others, including the provincial Governor and the UAE Ambassador, were injured.
Some UAE diplomats were also among the wounded.In Lashkargah, capital of Helmand province, at least 10 people lost their lives after a bomber stormed a meeting of local security officials and police personnel.
The victims included civilians and military personnel. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strongly condemned the terror attacks in Kabul.
In his Tweet, the Prime Minister condoled the loss of innocent lives and said India stands with Afghanistan in its fight against terrorism.
