In Iran, at least eight border guards were killed in clashes with armed rebels yesterday on the frontier with Pakistan. Iran's state television IRIB said on its website that the clashes broke out in the Mirjaveh



region of Sistan-Baluchistan province. 

It said that the Jaish al-Adl terror group, accused by Tehran of links to Al-Qaeda, carries out regular attacks in Sistan-Baluchistan.
