PV Sindhu enter in quarterfinals of China Open

In China Open badminton championship, Rio Olympics silver medallist PV Sindhu will take on unseeded Bingjiao He of China in the women's singles quarterfinal at Fuzhou. Sindhu, entered the quarterfinals with a hard-fought win against Beiwen Zhang of USA yesterday notching up a 18-21 22-20 21-17 victory in an hour long



match.

In men's category, three-time Dutch Open champion, Jayaram will face reigning Olympic champion and two-time World champion Chen Long of China in the quarterfinal. Jayaram too had to work hard to surpass Wei Nan as he notched up a 20-22 21-19 21-12 win over the Hong Kong shuttler in a 56-minute clash.
