Mumbai Indians cruised to 8 wicket victory with 27 balls to spare while chasing a formidable total of 198 against Kings Eleven Punjab at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore last night.

Mumbai Indians made 199 for 2 in 15.3 overs. For Mumbai, Joss Buttler 77 of 37, Parthiv Patel 37 of just 18 balls, Nitish Rana 62 of 34 balls and Hardik Pandya 15 of 4 balls, all had



a strike rate bettering the 180 mark. 

Earlier, sent into bat, Punjab's opener Hashim Amla made unbeaten 104 of 60 ball and helped his side to 198 for 4 in stipulated 20 overs. 

In today's fixture, Kolkata Knight Riders will take on Gujarat Lions at Eden Gardens Cricket Stadium in Kolkata. The match will start at 8pm.
