Two pickpocket gangs busted in Hyderabad

The Gopalpuram police arrested two pickpocketing gangs at the Secunderabad railway station. The gangs were actively involved in robbing people who used to sleep on platforms.

SI A. Shankar said, “The suspects are vagabonds and are habituated to crime. The main accused Bathula Yesu set up two gangs to commit crimes. So he devised a plan



along with his friends Syed Minza, Baswara Raj, Vishal, Manikanta and Shyamlal.”

“They were involved in eight crimes in the last three months. They used to steal money from people who slept on platforms and also in parking areas. 19 mobile phones were recovered from them and they were booked under Section 379,” the cop said.
