Warangal: Task Force police have arrested a couple and one of their accomplice for cheating about 241 unemployed youths in the name of providing them with government jobs on Monday. The police have also recovered Rs 21.70 lakh in cash, and two cars besides several other fake government ID cards and documents.

The arrested were Challa Vinaypal Reddy of Hanamkonda, his wife Porika Anasuya, and Lavudya Naveen Saketh also resident of Surendrapuri Colony. One more accused person in this job fraud racket Raj K P Sinha from New Delhi is absconding.

Disclosing the details at a press meet here on Monday, Warangal police commissioner Dr Tarun Joshi said, the accused collected money by faking that they would give employment as District organising Commissioner, Scout Master, Guide Captain and Data entry operators. They collected anywhere between Rs 2.50 lakh to Rs 5 lakh from each candidate. In this regard, a cheating case was registered in Matwada station. Many more cases were also registered against them in Mulugu, in Karimnagar, Badradri Kothagudem, Khammam and Kukatpally in Hyderabad)

“Vinaypal Reddy, who worked as the VRO, was suspended in a forgery



case while he was working in Mulugu district. He met Porika Anasuya, who was an outsourcing employee in the revenue department and was married to her while he was working in Mulugu. They met one Raj K P Sinha, who claimed as the National Commissioner The Scouts/ Guides Organisation, India, New Delhi, and hatched a plan to cheat the unemployed youth by offering fake jobs,” the CP said and added that they had even provided training to the candidates for 15 days.

“Later, the candidates were given appointment orders to serve at different places of Warangal, Narsampet, Nekkonda, Hanamkonda, Nalgonda, Mancherial, Mulugu, Karimnagar, Mahabubabad, Bhadradri-Kothagudem.

 As per the orders given the candidates went to their assignments where they were rejected by the concerned school’s authorities as their postings were found to be fake ones. On knowing about fraud, the candidates questioned Vinaypal Reddy and his wife and also requested them to return their money but all the efforts made by them went in vain. “Instead, they were threatened by the accused,” Joshi added. Task Inspectors Ch Srinivas Ji and R Santhosh were led by the teams and apprehended the fraudsters
