A woman murdered in Hyderabad outskirts

Hyderabad: Unidentified assailants reportedly murdered a woman and set her body ablaze in Bakaram village under Moinabad police station on Monday.

The villagers spotted the victim's body on a kacha road behind Dream Valley Resorts, and immediately informed Moinabad police. By the time police reached the scene of offence, the body was completely charred.

Police recovered a partially burnt mobile phone from the crime scene, which they will hand over to FSL for recovering technical data, police sources disclosed.

the scene.

"We suspect the assailants might have murdered her somewhere else and burnt the body. We are probing all angles," said G. Pavan Kumar Reddy, Moinabad PS inspector.

In order to identify the victim, police have alerted police stations in all three commissionerates to check for any missing woman’s complaints.

"It is difficult to identify the victim and her age. We are waiting for the postmortem reports. Two suspects have been taken for questioning," reliable police sources said.
