Bengaluru: First G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting will begin in Bengaluru on Friday. There are around 500 delegates participating in the two-day meet from G20 member countries, invitees and representatives of international organisations.

The meet will be opened by a pre-recorded message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the participating Finance ministers and Central Bank Governors. After the Welcome session, deliberations on the first session on International Financial Architecture, Sustainable Finance and Infrastructure will be



held. 

The second session in the afternoon is on Financial Sector and Financial Inclusion. The shared global challenges of the 21st century, financing for resilient, inclusive and sustainable cities of tomorrow, leveraging digital public infrastructure for advancing financial inclusion and productivity gains, global health and international taxation are some of the priority areas to be taken up during the meet. The discussions in this meet are intended to provide a clear mandate for the various work streams of the G20 Finance Track.
